We urge anyone considering buying the complete Z4 system (as has
been advertised in the newsgroup comp.sys.amiga.marketplace - as quoted
below) from "Xanthar" (xanthar@bonbon.net) to think again.

It was purchased fraudulantly using a stolen credit card number on 30th
March 2001 from ourselves, Eyetech Group Ltd in the UK. The international
police have been notified and are looking into the situation at the moment.
We would like to remind anyone who purchases the system that they will be in
possession of stolen goods, although if you do actually consider parting
with any money you would be unlikely to receive anything from him anyway.

Here is our final email with Xanthar (otherwise known as Mr Domagoj
Stirinic):

HAHAHAHA ;)
He will be glad for surprise when he comes home from his holiday...

> Dear Mr Stirinic
>
> You will be aware from the 2 emails sent by my colleague Mike Nixon on
> Thursday 24th May, and from his conversation with you by phone on 24th May,
> and from the telephone message left with a female member of your household
> on Saturday 26th May that there has been a serious problem with the payment
> of your order.
>
> Whilst we initially thought that this was an innocent mistake on your part,
> because we have been unable to speak with you by phone since that first
> phone call (the phone has been hung up whenever an English voice is heard)
> nor had any reply from you by email we can only now assume that the whole
> transaction was part of a credit card fraud perpetrated by yourself. As I'm
> sure you are aware the card you used, and which we have internet trace
> records of you sending, is registered to an American citizen who denies all
> knowledge of the transaction.
>
> Accordingly, if we have not heard a satisfactory explanation from you by
> 12:00 GMT on Friday June 1st we will put the matter, together with the
> internet trace evidence, in the hands of Interpol. As I'm sure you are
> aware, there is strong cooperation between Interpol and the Croatia police
> as part of the process of re-integrating Croatia with western Europe.
>
> This matter is now very serious.
>
> Please respond immediately

We have also sent emails posing as a customer for 'his' system to verify the
goods he is selling match the ones which we sent to him and have not been
paid for.

If you have any more information which may help ourselves and the police in
our enquiries, please email us using the addresses found at our website, at
