I have pleasure to inform (with author's consent) that final works on soundcard 'Martina' for Amiga 1200/3000/4000 just go on. Card specification: soundcard for Amiga 1200/3000/4000 computers connected with clock-port (version for ZorroII slots and under ROM stands will arisen in the near future); * inputs - 2 channel of 16 bit, maximum 96 khz; * outputs - 2 channel of 16 bit, maximum 96 khz; * full duplex; * FIFO 512 b; * sound mixing; for example from Paula and CD-Rom; * expansion socket, making possible card extension about MPEG decoder (MP3, MPEG-1 in clock port version) which is in the test phase and will be available in future deadline; * card in clock port version block of this port; * AHI drivers will be delivered with card, it's enable taking over functions audio.device in system, * service of MPEG decoder will be by library compatible with mpega.library; * version under ROM stand (it doesn't dash with BVision and FastATA) will be 24 bits (making possible trouble-free decoding MPEG) and full compatible with A4000 (and probably with A3000). Deadlines: 'Martina' card in version for clock port will be available in current year. Remaining version i.e. for ZorroII slots and 24 bits version under ROM stands and MPEG decoder will be available in future deadline. Prices: 'Martina' card price for clock port version will be about ... MPEG decoder will be available in sale as separate module. Its price and price of other versions are not calculated and will be given in the future.
