FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 8th, 1999 UGN to Offer Two Important Seminars at Amiga'99 Contacts: Wayne Hunt, UGN Administrator (wayne@amiga.org) Bill Borsari, UGN Events Coordinator (tekmage@amiga.org) Bob Scharp, Amiga'99 (bscharp@icon-stl.net) Seminar 1: User Groups: To incorporate or Not, Seminar 2: User Groups: Feedback and Answers for the Future The User Group Network (UGN) is please to announce the offering of two course relevant to the needs of all user groups at the Amiga'99 Show in St. Louis. These two courses are designed to help user groups determine what type of organization they wish to have, as well as assist in coordinating their efforts with that of Amiga Inc. The first of the two seminars is a luncheon on Saturday, March 13th at 11:30 entitled "User Groups: To Incorporate or Not". This seminar will be located in the hotel restaurant. This seminar is cosponsored with Amiga Atlanta and Gateway Amiga Club. In attendance will be Glenda Osby of the Internal Revenue Service. We have invited Glenda Osby of the IRS to discuss the pluses and minuses of incorporating a User Group as a non-profit organization. There will be roundtable question and answers, as well as a great lunch. The second seminar is entitled "User Groups: Feedback and Answers for the Future". This seminar will take place on Sunday, March 14th at 10:30 AM in the scheduled UGN classroom. It is expected that the new President of Amiga Inc., Jim Collas, will attend. This is a must for those user groups wishing to position themselves in line with Amiga Inc.'s vision of the future.
