Paul Nolan announces winners of the "New name for Photogenics"
Competition!

And the winner is.. "Luke", with Photogenics 4.0!
What happened to version 3? Well, lots of work was done on it, but was
abandoned for the complete re-write that is finally close to release. Why
not Photogenics Ng? Because contrary to popular opinion, Ng didn't stand
for Next Generation, its the name of my GUI system. Also, the version
after that would end up with two suffixes, Photogenics Ng 2.0.

Second and third place goes to Alex Tucker and David Johanson. Their
names needed a little tweaking for them to be trademarkable, but were so
good I may well use them for a future product. All three winners will
receive Photogenics 4.0 as soon as it's available.

Mike Rozack takes the "if only it could be used in Scrabble" prize with
"Pyxylyz" (pronounced "pixel-eyes"). He wins 4,000 points.

Prize for most bizarre name goes to "Reply by Phone", with "=====> WE WANT
YOU TO KNOW MORE ABOUT GOLF BALLS <=======". They win an entry in my
anti-spam filter.

As a thankyou for taking part, all participants receive a 15% discount on
Photogenics 4.0. This discount is not valid in conjunction with any other
offer, and is only available via mail order direct from Paul Nolan
Limited. Be sure to mention this offer and your email address when
ordering.
