Alien Breed Heads for DC

Team17 confirms its upcoming addition to the classic Alien Breed series
will be released on Dreamcast.

UK-based Worms-developer Team17 is to pick-up its classic series and
develop Alien Breed Conflict for next generation consoles, though
only a Dreamcast is currently confirmed. Other next generation platforms
are under evaluation. The real-time 3D strategy game casts players
as a leader of a group of soldiers as they fight for freedom.

"Alien Breed Conflict is confirmed for Dreamcast," said a company
spokesperson. "Other platforms are still speculation at this stage.
Team17 will be evaluating other next generation platforms as and when
they become viable."

A solid release date for the title has yet to be made.
