Hi.

On your site, you have an article refering to AmiSITE's exclusive about CB's
Portal:

[SNIP]
"ClickBoom have taken a lot of flack recently over this text on the Myst
CD, supposedly written by it's programmer. Come on, guys, how about a bit of
sense? If they didn't care about the Amiga they would have left long ago.
... You won't hear this anywhere else, so just remember where you read it;)"
You can see a few sentences above, cutted off from the exclusive
announcement of ClickBoom, provided to AmiSITE, covering opening of their
new, portal based, website. We sincerely hope above sentences will help you
to read "between the lines", to better understand, why some company as well
recognized as surely ClickBoom is, needs to do their announcemt this way.
While no one prevents them from doing so, on the other hand, we can bet
there is not any Amiga news provider out there, not knowing about their
"secret" page. Or should we put down the article about ClickBoom, when asked
to do so? Well, it seems to us, that "Truth is out there", so, to be more
positive, enjoy their new service, because if it's good one, it deserves
your attention...
[SNIP]

It didn't seem to survive the translation into english very well, but from
where I'm stitting it sounds as if you're infering that I was in some way
"bribed" by ClickBoom to "put down" the article about them.

If this is in fact what you're suggesting, well, quite simply you're wrong.
That MOTD was simply me expressing my opinions over the whole affair; that
it has yet to be proven, and that CB seem confident in disproving it.

I got the exclusive from John Corns, who mailed me about the portal (I
hadn't replied to the mail I got regarding it). He asked me not to post
unconfirmed stories about them (perfectly within their rights - would you
not like me to remove a story if I posted a slanderous one about you and
Czech Amiga News on AmiSITE? And no, there were no threats), and mentioned
that I'd be much better off asking for an exclusive.

I asked "is that an offer?", and he replied "Well, other sites do... do you
want the exclusive to the Portal? I can give you it, like, 3 days before
everyone else". That's it, nothing deeper than that.

If this isn't what it means, then could you please get a better translator
so us poor sleep deprived people can understand it a bit better? ;)

Regards

Tom
