Finnish Amiga Users Group Announces Christmas Meeting

Saku 99 Is Tentatively Scheduled For September 1999

ESPOO, FINLAND - November 28, 1998 - To celebrate the holiday season,
Finnish Amiga Users Group will be hosting a christmas meeting for Amiga
users on Saturday December 5th from 12:00 to 17:00 at the Science Centre
Heureka in Vantaa, Finland. Admission will be free of charge.

Amiga retailers will be present with some of the latest Amiga products on
sale, prizes are waiting for the lucky winners in gaming competitions,
visitors can exchange christmas presents and QNX's single floppy operating
system demonstration will be on display. There will also be free soft
drinks, light snacks and a DJ playing christmas music. The keyword is fun!

This christmas meeting will be third in a row of Amiga events organized by
the Finnish Amiga Users Group this year. The first was the Saku 98 in
March, which was attended by six companies, including Petro Tyschtschenko
of Amiga International, and some 500 visitors. Mr. Tyschtschenko presented
the now famous "Back for the future" single for the first time at Saku 98.
Saku 98 was followed by an annual user group meeting in September.

Despite and also because of the difficulties the Amiga comminity is facing
today, Finnish Amiga Users Group remains committed to it's original mission
statement; helping Amiga users and promoting the platform in Finland, both
in short and long term. The next big event, Saku 99, is already tentatively
scheduled for September 1999. More information on Saku 99 will be made
available as the planning progresses.
