According to sales figures I've experienced, and heard of from dealers,
it has worsened. However, not everyone agrees. There is a lack of hard
market data at present, so everyone goes with their own figures.

That is exactly how Opera is marketed. Opera Software sell direct over
the
internet, with a trial period before users have to buy.

I have spoken to Dr Havermose about OS5. He's planning Netscape for that.
It may well be possible to get Amiga Opera included with the other browsers
that will ship with OS3.5. However, when we suspended work, OS3.5 hadn't
been announced. If it had things may have been different.

It was a fairly edited down report from me that was posted there.
Helmar is of the opinion that the Amiga version would sell thousands and
thousands of copies...
