So, as for OS parner beeing present in Cologne, will we recognize its
name? Can we find them anywhere on the web?

YES - you will recognise it - they have a big, juicy website, and there
will be some cool demos from them.

Have you had to show them MMC demo to make them believe in your plans
with digital convergence revolution? Do they know of MMC? Is it possible
in any way, to get MMC demo (recorded monitor output to video tape) for
Cologne show? Maybe you could demonstrate people its power during your
presentation ....

Nope - they don't know or care about the MMC - the HW isn't the selling
point anymore - sure the MMC is cool and we can really show it off, but
it's the OS that will be most important. They don't really care what we
write it on.

Huh, scared now - it seems you don't believe MMC anymore? If it's so
revolutionary, how could it be irrelevant to the OS partner? In such
case its not going to be so revolutionary, or wrong? ...

Chip design is moving in several different ways. The MMC is going along
one such direciton but there are others - they are just not as far
along. there are also whole families of other chips going along even
more different paths.

So what I am trying to say is don't be wowed by the chips. We are not
going to make that mistake again, of tying ourselves to a single
solution.OCS/ECS/AA were necessary because nothing else existed at that
time - that is no longer true, and even a Pentium with a PC graphics
card is acceptable to us.

The problem has never been the HW, it has always been the OS.

Once OS partner deal is finished, will AInc. hire directly some
programmers? If so, when do you plan to release the OS 5 team info?

Once that is announced, we will hire a team.

When ICOA will start to take registrations of developers interested in
OS 5?

Early next year, AInc will begin its developer support program.

Why GW lawyers decided to make AInc. to remove RKM's? No plans for
releasing such documentation on ICOA net area?

They are unsure of the situation re Addison Wesley -besides which, we
are hoping to do new RKMs for OS3.5 anyway.

So, maybe its just our feelings and maybe it means we are not
open-minded enough, but we can hardly swallow sentences like " ... even
a Pentium with a PC graphics card is acceptable to us".
