9.5.99 AHI PPC
|
Both PowerUp and WarpUp have now been released in new versions, with support for something similar to "software interrupts", a feature required by AHI.
The mixing routines have now been finalized, which means that they will not change in the foreseeable future. Author finally added anti-click feature,
which really makes a difference. It sounds much better than before. Skipped the cubic spline code for now, maybe another millenium...
Mixing routines not yet translated to PPC. Anybody wanna help?
The GNU assember 'gas' will be used, using the System V.4 ABI

6.5.99 MP3 encoder "Ncoder" can not be delivered.
|
The fastest and first commercial MP3 encoder "Ncoder" for PPC & 68k
can not be delivered. The FHG (Frauenhofer Gesellschaft) decided further
restrictions for the selling of MP3 encoder. The legal slip hole that Titan Computer wanted to use, is now no longer available.
Titan Computer regrets this. Even a free version of Ncoder would Titan Computer
legally seen cost 25$ per copy. This is naturally not economical. At this time Titan Computer negotiates with Thomson to
nevertheless somewhat to achieve. Read more (deutsch).
